Board Elections

The BC Water & Waste Association (BCWWA) Board of Directors are responsible for setting the strategic direction, goals and priorities of the Association. As the Board term ends each spring, we ask our membership to review the Board candidates and cast a vote in the BCWWA Board elections to elect the incoming Board.

Why Become a Board Director?

  • Making a meaningful and significant contribution to an organization working to realize the vision of people having safe water and a healthy water environment.
  • Meeting new people, becoming part of a team and building your professional network as a representative for an organization that represents over 4,500 water professionals.

  • Expanding and deepening your professional knowledge across various areas of practice through active participation in Board meetings and discussions.

There will be two (2) vacant board director positions in 2026 and all active BCWWA members are invited to apply or nominate a fellow member – consider contributing your expertise and leadership to our organization.
