About the Speaker:

Dr. Farokh Kakar is the Founder of Blue College of Water and Technology and an award winning water professional based in Canada. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and established the college in 2022 to serve Canadian and international students interested in the Water and IT sectors, with a strong focus on sustainability.
Dr. Kakar has served in multiple leadership roles within the water sector.
– President of the Canadian Young Water Professionals at the International Water Association (IWA)
– President of the Graduate Leadership Council at the Ontario Water Consortium
– Vice President of Young Professionals in the Canadian Association for Water Quality (CAWQ)
– Global Ambassador at the Society of Women Engineers
