Meet the 2025-26 BCWWA Board of Directors!

Incoming Board Directors were introduced at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 2, 2025.

The Board is elected by the members as the Association’s governing body in accordance with its Bylaws. Directors are elected for a three-year term.

At the BCWWA AGM, two newly elected directors were confirmed to the Board: Darcy Dion, Utilities Foreperson at Tsawwassen First Nation and Jim Yargeau, Account Manager, Spartan Controls. The BCWWA also welcomed incoming BCWWA President Michelle Revesz, Integrated Sewer and Drainage Planning Manager at the City of Vancouver.

Meet Michelle Revesz
Integrated Sewer and Drainage Planning Manager

For almost 20 years, Michelle has worked as a water-centric engineer, working in academia, consulting engineering, and in the public sector. Currently, she is the City of Vancouver’s Integrated Sewer and Drainage Planning Manager, where she is responsible for the City’s sewer and rainfall monitoring program, coastal and pluvial flood planning, and development of sewer and drainage servicing plans that respond to growth, climate change and operational needs. Prior to joining the City of Vancouver, Michelle was a consulting engineer for more than 13 years, specializing in utility planning, flood management, and water conservation.

Meet Darcy Dion, CWP, CWWP
Utilities Foreperson, Tsawwassen First Nation

Darcy Dion has been working in water and wastewater operations for 12 years. She is an EOCP-certified operator in water treatment, wastewater treatment, distribution and collection and holds a level II designation in each discipline. Darcy is also passionate about cross connection awareness and enforcement and holds CCC Tester Certification through the BCWWA. Having worked in municipal, private and First Nation capacities, Darcy has a firm and dynamic understanding of our unique industry. Darcy’s mission is to ensure operators have the technical support, education and certification necessary to carry out their important work competently and confidently – because our communities depend on it!

Meet Jim Yargeau
Account Manager, Spartan Controls

With 18 years at Spartan Controls, Jim Yargeau leads a talented team in the water and wastewater sector across BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan to leverage deep industry knowledge to drive strategic goals and initiatives. Building strong bridges across BC with municipal end users and project stakeholders, Jim is passionate about fostering collaboration that leads to innovative solutions. Jim is an excellent communicator and loves to discuss the latest trends in industry and technology over good coffee.
