BCWWA Education
For over 40 years, the BC Water & Waste Association (BCWWA) has been one of the most respected providers of water sector training in British Columbia and the Yukon. We equip water practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed — offering preparation for certification exams, Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits and a clear pathway for career advancement in the industry.
Training Delivery Options
Instructor-led Virtual Classes
All classes are currently conducted in a virtual format, providing the same high-quality content and structured schedule as our in-person sessions. Using advanced online meeting technology, students can join from the comfort of their home or workplace while enjoying interactive discussions, real-time Q&A and collaborative learning — just like in a traditional classroom setting.
Online Courses
Learn at your own time and pace while covering the same comprehensive material as our in-class courses. Each course provides the same number of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and includes access to a dedicated instructor who is available to answer questions and guide your learning journey.
Our online courses run in 12-week sessions throughout the year. On average, you can expect to spend about three (3) hours per week on coursework, making it easy to fit learning into your schedule.
Special Request Courses
Custom Course – Our custom courses are delivered directly within your organization, making them an ideal solution for training a large group of employees at a time that works best for you, without the added cost of travel. Simply request a custom course and we’ll handle the rest.
On-Demand Course – When there are too few participants to make a custom course viable, BCWWA can collaborate with individuals and organizations to deliver the training you need. We’ll work closely with the requesting parties to confirm attendance and may combine these efforts with public registration opportunities to ensure the course runs successfully.
